RAM Law Partner Ed Rebenack settles shoulder surgery litigation for $149,000. The RAM Law client was a tenant at an apartment building in Plainfield, NJ. During the 2014 winter season, the Superintendant failed to shovel snow and ice from the back of the apartment complex. The property manager knew that the area was oftentimes used by tenants as a walkway. The RAM Law client slipped on snow-covered ice resulting in a shoulder injury that ultimately required arthroscopic surgery. Prior to trial, the insurance company for the apartment complex agreed to pay $149,000 to settle all claims.
