Jay Mascolo Obtains $800,000 Settlement for Minor Injured in a Car Accident

The RAM Law client was 13 years old at the time of the accident and a backseat passenger in a van travelling on the Garden State Parkway.  The van collided with another vehicle that had been involved in a two vehicle accident moments earlier.  The boy was nearly ejected from the vehicle and sustained a closed head injury in the accident as well as orthopedic injuries.   While continuing to improve from the accident, he continued to suffer from neuropsychological, psychological and orthopedic residuals.  The case settled after two mediations and prior to trial.  A portion of the settlement was placed in a long term settlement structure fund.
