Jay Mascolo Obtains $675,000 Settlement for Forklift Accident

Partner, Jay Mascolo, obtained a $675,000 settlement for a truck driver injured when he was struck by a forklift on a loading dock. The RAM Law client had recently ended his shift as a truck driver and was standing in the loading dock of his place of employment when he was struck by a forklift operated by a co-employee. The wheel of the forklift ran over his foot causing a serious crush injury. The client sustained multiple open fractures to his left foot. He was admitted to the hospital where he underwent an open reduction surgery and insertion of hardware. Thereafter, he underwent numerous irrigation and debridement procedures and a partial removal of the hardware. The case settlement on the day of trial in Middlesex County Superior Court.
