The client was a 37 year-old driver travelling on Easton Avenue in Franklin Township when she was rear-ended by a commercial pickup truck owned by the Defendant electric company.
As a result of the crash, the plaintiff alleged one herniation in the lumbar spine and two cervical disc bulges. Following the crash, the plaintiff underwent multiple pain management procedures to her neck and low back with limited relief. She eventually underwent an interbody fusion with instrumentation to her lumbar spine. The surgical procedure provided partial relief.
Plaintiff had exhausted her PIP benefits and presented outstanding medical bills totaling $64,000.
Following discovery and before the scheduled trial date, Defendants’ carrier to pay $400,00 to settle the claim.
