Rebenack Obtains $100,000 Settlement for Motorcycle Crash

RAM Law’s Ed Rebenack settles injury lawsuit involving a motorcycle crash for $100,000. The RAM Law client was riding his motorcycle in Newton, Sussex County, New Jersey. Despite the client having the right of way, another vehicle made a left turn across his path of travel resulting in a crash. The crash resulted in multiple fractures requiring hospitalization. During investigation, the negligent vehicle was determined to have no insurance. Thus, the claim turned to the uninsured motorist coverage (UM coverage) provided by the client’s motorcycle insurance policy issued by Progressive. Progressive agreed to pay the UM coverage limit of $100,000 to settle the claims and avoid litigation.
